Payroll and Related Tax Issues 101

Payroll can often be a confusing subject for any business. Regardless of what your business is, at some point, you will need employees to help your business grow. This class will teach you everything you need to get started with payroll, and what to expect.

By the end of this workshop you will:

•Know how to complete payroll tax forms, i.e. 941 & state unemployment returns
•Know how to calculate a payroll check
•Know more about how to stay out of trouble with the IRS and State
•Be able to determine whether your worker will be an employee or a contractor
•Have completed a mock payroll for the year so you know what is required
